Since its launch in October 2020, more than 2,000 devices have been manufactured and sold.

Onsor.com had the objective of overcoming the constraints of traditional physical retail and developing a smooth online shopping experience for customers in the area. Their goal was to tackle the task of building a strong e-commerce platform that could accommodate various consumer preferences, ensure secure transactions, and guarantee dependable product delivery.
To formulate a strategy and create a well-rounded e-commerce website that places emphasis on user experience, convenience, and a wide range of products and to adopt a customer-centric approach, focusing on developing a user-friendly interface, intuitive navigation, and an aesthetically pleasing design.
In order to bring the vision of Onsor to life quickly and efficiently, we practice designing and developing using the Agile methodology.The Agile methodology is a time boxed, iterative approach (sprints) to software delivery that builds software incrementally from the start of the project instead of delivering all at once in the end.The Agile methodology allows for flexibility in quickly pivoting and redirecting to create and develop what Onsor's audience truly needs.To ensure proper Agile development and project management, we leveraged GitHub and ZenHub.
A design sprint is a time-boxed framework for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping and testing ideas with users.
The goal of a design sprint is to reduce the risk when bringing a new product, service or a feature to the market.

User stories are short, simple descriptions of a feature told from the perspective of the person who desires the new capability, usually a user or customer of the system.
For the Onsor team, we broadly defined three users:
1 - Website visitor
2 - Administrator
3 - Service Provider
With these users in mind, the team worked together to prepare a whole range of user stories to go clearly define the breadth and depth of the proposed solutions.
To determine what is most important to the stakeholders in the project, the client team prioritized by voting on the most important user stories..
The core experience Onsor desired is that their customers have a memorable experience while learning about their company and products and to easily purchase their headlining product, the O50 laptop.
To ensure this, we worked on creating:
- The overall website experience
- The e-commerce store
To ensure a fitting experience, we created a thorough sitemap that would serve in educating, informing and finally, enticing Onsor's audience to purchase an Onsor laptop.
To ensure active communication between our team and Onsor, we used Figma to collaborate and share ideas on developing what is best for Onsor's audience. This was important for us to make sure that Onsor could communicate their vision for the Onsor website.
Using the power of WordPress and WooCommerce, we created the Onsor website and store that allows Onsor to truly communicate who they are as an organization and their intent to bolster the Sultanate of Oman as one of the leading countries in tech. Additionally, the website is accessible to an Arabic and English audience.
As the Sultanate of Oman is known for its caring hospitality, Onsor aims to leave a strong mark in ensuring their Onsor laptops are meeting their customers' standards.
Onsor will be offering a training program to computer repair shops called Onsor Trusted Service Provider (OTSP) Program. This program will train computer shop owners and technicians to understand and comply with Onsor customer service and repair standards.
To develop this experience, Onsor approached our team to build a digital platform that will allow OTSPs to manage the services that they will provide to Onsor customers and to allow customers to submit service requests to OTSPs. Additionally, this platform provides Onsor with an overview of the performance of their OTSPs and help them manage them.
To create initial alignment and clarity with Onsor, we developed wireframes to have a constructive dialogue on how to design and develop the OTSP experience.
Maintaining a high standard for customer service is not easy goal to achieve, and to ensure that the complex nature of developing the OTSP is easily understood by the development team, core screen flow diagrams were created to ensure an active line of communication between the design and development.
In order to ensure proper development of the OTSP, we used GitHub to capture and track bugs and errors in context. Additionally, we had routine syncs with Onsor to test the platform and continue developing business understanding.
To maintain the OTSP platform after its launch to the public, through ZenDesk, the Onsor team can simply send an email and it will create a GitHub ticket for our team to resolve.
